About Our Products 

Q: Are all your products sugar-free?

A: Yes! All Siocolat branded products are completely free from refined sugar. We use natural sweeteners that are diabetic-friendly while maintaining the rich, delicious taste of chocolate. 

Q: What makes Siocolat chocolate sugar-free?

A: Siocolat products are sweetened without added sugar, using plant-based sweeteners (primarily stevia) and, in some recipes, sugar alcohols like maltitol. Always check the product label for the exact sweetener used.

Q: What sweeteners do you use? 

A: Majority of our products are sweetened with natural organic ground stevia leaves.  However, some of our products are made by third party suppliers use maltitol, a low calorie sweetener that tastes like sugar and easily digestible.  We’re exploring additional options like monk fruit and erythritol based on customer feedback and recipe performance.

Q: Does maltitol cause bloating or stomach upset?

A: Some people are sensitive to sugar alcohols like maltitol, especially in larger portions. If you’re sensitive, start with a small serving and see how you feel.

Q: Are all your products vegan?

A: No. The eclairs and toffees contain milk, and they are manufactured by a third party supplier. We believe in creating delicious treats that everyone can enjoy. However, in the future we might go 100% vegan friendly.

Q: Are your products gluten-free?

A: Not all products are gluten-free. Some mixes may contain flours or be made in environments where gluten is present. Please check each product page/label and contact us if you need help choosing.

Q: What ingredients do you use?

A: We use premium organic ingredients, including high-quality cocoa, organic coconut milk and natural sweeteners. All our products are carefully crafted without any artificial additives or preservatives. Please note the eclairs and toffees are manufactured by a third party and the ingredients they used may not be organic but 100% sugar-free.

Q: Are Siocolat products suitable for people with diabetes?

Many customers choose Siocolat because it’s sugar-free and plant-based. Everyone responds differently, so we recommend checking the ingredients, portion size, and your personal guidance from a clinician—especially if you’re managing blood glucose.

Q: Will sugar-free chocolate spike blood sugar?

A: Sugar-free doesn’t always mean “zero impact.” Sweeteners and total carbs can affect people differently. For the best choice, review the nutrition label, consider portion size, and track your own response.

Q: Are your products keto-friendly?

A: Some sugar-free products can fit lower-sugar lifestyles, but “keto-friendly” depends on total carbs per serving and your personal targets. Check the nutrition label and choose the option that best fits your plan.

Q: What are your best-sellers?

A: Our sugar-free vegan hot chocolate is our best-seller, followed by our sugar-free chocolate rice porridge (champorado). If you’re new here, those are great places to start.

Q: What does champorado taste like?

A: Champorado is a comforting Filipino chocolate rice porridge—rich, chocolatey, and cozy. Ours is a sugar-free, vegan take on the classic, designed for indulgence without added sugar.

Q: Do your products contain nuts?

A: Some items may contain nuts (for example, chocolate-coated almonds and chocolate peanut butter) or be made in facilities that handle nuts. Always check the product label and allergen information before ordering.

 

 

Ordering & Shipping

Q: Does free shipping apply to all the products on the website?

Siocolat products are shipped free within the UK.  Some of our partner brands may charge a shipping fee and will ship separately. 

Q: Do you ship internationally?

Yes—we ship within the UK and internationally (including Europe, Asia, and North America). Shipping options and rates are shown at checkout.

Q: How long does shipping take?

A: Orders typically ship within 2–3 business days. Delivery time depends on your location and the courier selected at checkout.  Some of our products are shipped via our partner brands and may depend on the shipping service they use.

Q: Which couriers do you use?

A: Siocolat uses trusted couriers including Yodel, Evri, and Royal Mail for UK deliveries. International options vary by destination.

Q: Can chocolate melt during shipping?

A: Chocolate can be temperature-sensitive. We take care with packaging and aim to keep shipments under 30°C to protect quality, but extreme heat can still affect texture.

 

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

Q: What currencies can I pay in?

A: We accept various currencies. You may adjust the country/currency on a drop down menu located at the bottom of the website.

A: We take great care in packaging your orders to ensure they arrive in perfect condition, regardless of the shipping distance.

Q: Which shipping companies do you use? 

A: We use Royal Mail, Evri, Yodel, Fedex, UPS and DHL.  This depends on the delivery address. 

Q: How can I return an item?

Q: How should I store my Siocolat products?

A: Store your products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For best results, maintain a temperature below 20°C (68°F).

Q: How long do your products last (shelf life)?

A: Most Siocolat products are shelf-stable for 6 months or longer when stored properly. For best quality, keep them sealed and stored in a cool, dry place.

Q: How should I store my chocolate and mixes?

A: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong odours. Reseal after opening to maintain freshness.
